Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake is a rare mount that drops from the Slabhide boss in the Stonecore dungeon. The dungeon was added with the Cataclysm expansion and it has a low drop rate for the mount.
The regular way to get it is to run the dungeon several times until the mount drops. However, it is a time-consuming process and not suitable for most players.
1. Run Stonecore Dungeon
The Vitreous Stone Drake mount drops from the second boss in the dungeon, Slabhide, in the Temple of Earth in Deepholm. It is a dungeon that was introduced in the Cataclysm expansion. The dungeon is level 82-85 and can be run on Normal or Heroic difficulty.
The dungeon features high-levels and has a high chance to drop the mount. It is a popular dungeon amongst players. Unlike the Raven Lord, the Vitreous Stone Drake can be obtained by queuing up for it through Dungeon Finder.
The dungeon has a few tricky mechanics, but it is not as difficult as it may seem. Be careful of the lava pools and move away from cracks in the ground. Watch out for the boss when he burrows underground, and kill the rock elementals that spawn. Also, be careful when he casts Crystal Barrage. He will spawn a series of crystal shards that explode and inflict damage on players. Be sure to hide behind a spike when this happens.

She also has a spell that causes her to summon something like black holes on the ground, which suck in enemies and deal damage. Players who can AoE will have a blast with this fight.
