Mithril Ore is used for an arrangement of crafting goods. However, now that we are in the WotLK classic content, not many use it for crafting unless they are leveling up professions.

240 mithril is needed for blacksmithing 170 mithril is needed for engineering 142 mithril is needed for jewelcrafting

This gives you an idea of how much you should be farming depending on what you are farming mithril for. Whether you use it to sell or to level up a profession is all up to you. However, if you are farming for leveling up professions. It is recommended that you farm an extra stack or two just to be on the safe side.

You don’t want to be in a major city and find out you didn’t farm enough mithril. One Mithril is really expensive at the moment and two it’s not easy to farm.

210-215 15x Heavy Mithril Gauntlet – 90 Mithril Bar, 60 Mageweave Cloth

235 – 250 Buy Plans: Mithril Spurs from the Auction House.15x Mithril Spurs – 60 Mithril Bar, 45 Solid Grinding Stone
Alternative recipe:15x Mithril Coif – 150 Mithril Bar, 90 Mageweave Cloth

If you can’t find the Mithril spurs from the Auction house, no sweat because you can go ahead and craft the Mithril Coif. It is a little more pricey with Mithril, but just about the only other option.

Here is what you need to level up Engineering

195 – 200 7x Mithril Tube – 21 Mithril BarStop making these when you reach 200. Keep 6 Mithril Tubes, because you might need them if you choose Gnomish Engineering at 200.
200 – 215 20x Unstable Trigger – 20 Mithril Bar, 20 Mageweave Cloth, 20 Solid Blasting Powder Save these.
215 – 238 40x Mithril Casing – 120 Mithril Bar Save these.
238 – 250 20x Hi-Explosive Bomb – 40 Mithril Casings, 20 Unstable Trigger, 40 Solid Blasting Powder

40x Mithril Filigree – 80 Mithril Bar

28x Engraved Truesilver Ring – 28 Truesilver Bar, 56 Mithril Filigree

25x Citrine Ring of Rapid Healing – 25 Citrine, 50 Mithril Bar
